This was an amazing 5 star restaurant. I recommend it! The Service was incredible and food sooo delicious!! The best customer service and everyone was so friendly too!!
Best Chinese food around. I go at least twice a month for their delicious lunch specials and hot tea with a sugar stick. Sometimes I have their yummy Wor Wonton soup. Jimmy, the manager, always greets me with a smile and handshake. I also enjoy the corner location with large windows...offering people watching views. Cleanliness and service is perfect!
Good food, excellent service from Tom Cruise in a relaxed atmosphere. Walking along Balboa main and ran into this little popular jewel. Try it. You'll like it!!
Had another delicious dinner at Shanghai Pine Garden. Good food at a good price. I only wish my fried rice had the larger shrimp the chow mein had.
We love this place. To be clear, the food isn't going to win any awards. But it's the only Chinese restaurant on Balboa Island and it has all of the Americanized "best hits". We highly recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp, and the Green and Green. Also the chicken wings and soups are excellent! The service is pretty fast and friendly. And the interior feels like a familiar throwback.
Had the Beef Chow Fun and Garlic Shrimp. Absolutely delicious. Parking was difficult to find, but the food was worth the walk over the bridge.
New Menu and remodeled! Haven't been here for a while and just found out all the new great changes with new dishes and remodeling. I love the new shrimp and beef rice bowls with hose special sauce, The fried tofu was crispy and a great vegetarian dish. Shrimp roll was so yummy and fancy. Wonderful Service and affordable price. Will come back for sure!
Only spot on balboa island for Chinese food and we were not disappointed! Dined in on a quiet weekday and shared a meal with my bf. Everything we picked was delicious and was the perfect amount of food for two people. We started with the fried dumplings and for our main meal, orange chicken and pork fried. We did come about 1.5hr before closing, so wasn't very busy but there was plenty of people picking up orders thought out out 45 mins dining in. We will easily be back to try some more options, and the lo Mien!
